Yahoo! Finance has hired award-winning journalist Janna Herron to lead its personal finance coverage.
Herron joins the organization from USA Today, where she covered personal finance and real estate. Herron has also written for ValuePenguin, The Fiscal Times, The Associated Press and Commercial Property News. She’s also been interviewed as a personal finance expert by CNBC, CNNMoney, Fox Business News and National Public Radio, among other news outlets.
Herron has received two Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing awards, a Peter Lisagor award and was a finalist for the Gerald Loeb award. She’s also has contributed three chapters to the self-published Future Millionaires’ Guidebook, a collaboration of eight personal finance writers and editors.
