Forbes senior editor Matthew Herper has been hired by STAT to cover medicine as a senior writer.
He will start in January.
Herper has been with Forbes for 18 years, covering science and medicine, from the Human Genome Project through Vioxx to the blossoming DNA technology changing the world today.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in science from MIT and a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
