Hearst Connecticut newspapers have hired Michael Hamad as its business and features editor.
Those papers include the New Haven Register, the Stamford Advocate, the Connecticut Post and the Greenwich Time.
Hamad has been with the Hartford Courant since November 2013, first as its music reporter and then as a senior editor overseeing podcast initiatives. He was host and producer of the Capitol Watch podcast.
He previously worked at the Hartford Advocate, an alternative newspaper, as associate editor and multimedia reporter.
