David Hatch has joined The Deal as a senior editor in Washington covering regulation.
Hatch most recently served as a senior technology reporter at PaRR-Global, an Acuris subsidiary, where he covered U.S. national security reviews of cross-border deals, Congress and federal agencies.
Hatch brings more than 20-plus years of financial reporting expertise to The Deal’s newsroom.
He was part of a team of journalists that launched Citiscope, a nonprofit news venture reporting on global urban innovation. He also had been a contributor to Tarbell, a nonprofit media venture that spotlights how influence works in Washington.
Previously, he was a freelance writer with a client list that included U.S. News & World Report, Governing, News Corp. and London-based Managing IP.
He also been a staff writer in Washington with National Journal and Crain Communications.
