Harvard Business Review hires new managing editor, senior audio producer

Sarah Moughty

Sarah Moughty will join Harvard Business Review online (HBR.org) as managing editor in late October. She will be overseeing an editorial team of reporters, editors, and producers, and will be overlooking the digital product team.

Moughty is currently the executive director, digital, at Marketplace where she just guided the company through a site redesign. Previously, she was the managing editor for digital for PBS’s “Frontline,” developing a content strategy that moved it from a television series into an award-winning multiplatform news organization.

Additionally, she has also worked as a digital media consultant at Independent.

Moughty has a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Wellesley College.

Anne Noyes Saini has also joined HBR this month as a senior audio producer. She will be offering editorial guidance to new podcasts on the HBR Presents network and creating new HBR podcasts and other audio offerings. Saini brings an experience of five years in producing podcasts to the company.

Previously, Saini was the senior producer for “The Sporkful” podcast on Stitcher (previously on WNYC). She has also served as an editor, researcher, freelance editor and project writer for various organizations. She is also the co-creator and host of her own podcast on Acast called “Mother.”
