Hartford Business Journal editor leaving

Hartford Business Journal editor Vincent Valvo will leave the business news weekly to become group publisher of The Warren Group effective Nov. 19, according to a story by Eric Gershon in the Hartford Courant.

Gershon wrote, “Former Business Journal staff writer Diane Weaver Dunne, who was appointed as State Treasurer Denise Nappier’s press aide in June, will rejoin the weekly publication as interim editor, Valvo said today.

“Valvo, 47, has previously worked for The Warren Group, which is based in Boston and publishes Banker & Tradesman and The Commercial Record. He has served as Business Journal editor for two years.

“Valvo said he will split his time between his home in West Hartford and Boston.”
