Gurley joins Motherboard as a staff writer

Laura Gurley

Lauren Gurley will be joining Motherboard, an online magazine and website focused on technology that is owned by Vice Media.

Gurley will be focusing on the “ballooning labor movement” in the tech sector. She previously worked at The New Republic as a reporter.

Prior to her time at The New Republic, she was the web editor at NACLA, the North American Congress on Latin America.

She graduated from New York University in May 2018.
