Guilford joins WSJ as economics reporter

Gwynn Guilford

The Wall Street Journal has hired Gwynn Guilford as an economics reporter.

Previously, Guilford was with Quartz.

She held the post of senior economics reporter at Quartz. Before joining Quartz, Guilford was a blogger for Andrew Sullivan’s The Dish. She also held the posts of senior consultant and senior research consultant at The Beacon Group and Dow Jones, respectively.

Guilford also worked with Pacific Epoch for more than a year as the company’s vice president. Apart from these posts, Guilford has held other editorial positions including serving as an executive editor for China International Business and as a deputy managing editor for True Run Media.

Guilford is a B.A. in Chinese from Middlebury College and holds a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University.
