Peter Guest has been promoted to enterprise editor of Rest of World, which reports on the impact of technology beyond the Western bubble.
He will work with freelance reporters and editors to produce high-impact, deeply-reported projects that help connect the dots on trends in international tech.
He has been the Southeast Asia editor for Rest of World, where he has been since August 2020.
He most recently worked for the Nikkei Asian Review in Tokyo, where he was the cover story editor. Prior to that, he led the FT’s This Is Africa magazine.
He has held senior roles in newsrooms, including CNBC and the Huffington Post UK, and launched magazines for the Financial Times Ltd and Raconteur.
