Francesco Guerrera
Francesco Guerrera, head of international at Barron’s Group at Dow Jones & Co., is leaving the company to become editor in chief of GlobalData Plc.
GlobalData has news sites covering everything from health care to consumer goods, mining, finance, technology, defense and clean energy.
Guerrera was previously head of Europe for Dow Jones, which he rejoined in 2017.
He previously was associate editor and chief financial correspondent for Politico Europe, where he launched and led the publication’s coverage of financial services.
Previously, he was global finance editor at The Wall Street Journal, where he managed a team of 200 reporters and editors. Before then, he was in charge of the Financial Times’ coverage of the 2008 financial crisis as U.S. financial and business editor.
