A story on the paper’s website states, “Greenwood started with American City Business Journals, HBJ’s parent company, in 2003 as a reporter at the Austin Business Journal. She later became assistant managing editor of the ABJ before moving to Houston to work at Insperity Inc., where she worked as marketing communications manager. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with her degree in journalism.
“‘Giselle has the energy and the passion to take HBJ to the next level and beyond with her keen sense of what our readers want, when they need it and how we deliver it,’ said John Beddow, publisher of the HBJ.
“Greenwood, who was raised in Houston, moved back to Houston with her husband and two sons in 2009.”
