Rick Green has been named managing editor of Bloomberg Industries.
Bloomberg Industries provides industry data, interactive charting and written analysis from a team of independent experts, giving trading and investment professionals insight into where industries stand today and where they may be heading next.
Green most recently was senior editor on the finance team and previously was team leader for insurance and commercial banks during the financial crisis.
He joined Bloomberg in 2006. Green was previously assistant managing editor for business and technology at Newsday, a senior editor at Business Week and senior editor at the Wall Street Journal’s SmartMoney.
Green has a master’s degree from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree from SUNY-Binghamton.
