GQ Roll Call acquires Federal News Service from Dolan

GQ Roll Call said Monday that it has acquired Federal News Service from Dolan Co. for an undisclosed amount, reports Jeff Clabaugh of the Washington Business Journal.

Clabaugh writes, “Minneapolis-based The Dolan Co., which publishes business journals and court papers and stages industry events, says selling FNS will allow it to focus on growth of its strategic businesses.

“Dolan acquired FNS in 2010.

“CQ Roll call executive vice president and managing director Keith White says the acquisition will give its reader s access to ‘what policy makers say as they vote, amend, argue and more.’

“Current FNS subscribers will see no interruption in coverage, CQ Roll Call says. It will maintain the existing FNS websites along with all currently available information.”
