Nicole Goodkind has been hired Newsweek as a breaking news reporter with a focus on the intersection of business and politics.
She started earlier this week.
For the past seven months, Goodkind has been the press secretary for the Peter G. Peterson Foundation in New York.
She previously worked as a reporter from September 2012 to March 2017 for Yahoo Finance, where she covered fiscal and monetary policy. Before taking on the economics beat, she wrote about music and culture for Paper Magazine, “The Today Show” and Fuse TV.
Goodkind is a native New Yorker and a proud product of the New York City public school system. She has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in international relations and film studies.
