Bruce Mohl, the consumer reporter and consumer interest columnist on the Boston Globe’s business desk, is leaving the paper to become editor of CommonWealth magazine, according to a brief in Wednesday’s paper.
“Mohl served as State House bureau chief in the late 1980s and worked on the Spotlight Team, which won the Gerald Loeb award in 1992 for coverage of conflicts of interest in the state’s pension system.”
Mohl’s business coverage focused on evaluating retail sectors affecting consumers including telecommunications, airfares, and retail in Boston and beyond. He also writes about auto and travel insurance. He was previously the political editor.
