Alexis Glick was promoted to vice president of business news for Fox Business Network, the company announced Wednesday. The network launches Oct. 15.
In making the announcement, executive vice president Kevin Magee said, “Alexis has made a tremendous contribution in determining the strategy and content of FBN and its core properties, and we look forward to her serving as one of our main editorial voices on the network.â€?
Glick added, “I’m proud to play a role in developing business news coverage for FBN, which provides me with the opportunity to utilize my strengths in news anchoring as well as my Wall Street expertise.�
Prior to joining Fox News Channel as a director of business news in September 2006, Glick was a correspondent for NBC News’s Today Show, where she appeared regularly on the third hour of the program. Before Today, she was a senior trading correspondent for CNBC and reported from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange for CNBC’s morning show Squawk Box.Â
