Glick going to CNN?

Alexis Glick, the business news anchor who left Fox Business Network in December, could be headed for a job at CNN, according to someone who ran into her at its offices.

PR executive Nick Ragone wrote Monday: “I just came back from CNN (I was a guest on Ali Velshi‘s show, talking about presidents and gridlock!), and ran into Alexis Glick, formerly of Fox Business, in the 5th floor lobby.  I asked her if I should ‘read anything into it,’ and she sort of hedged and hawed (with a big smile).  I know that Gerri Willis is leaving CNN, and several of their air personalities will be taking maternity leave soon, so it wouldn’t shock me if they work out some kind of deal with Alexis.  Something to keep an eye on …”

When Glick, who had also been at CNBC, left Fox, she said that she was about to “embark on a new venture. It’s going to allow me to utilize the skills I’ve learned at Fox Business, Morgan Stanley, and the Today Show. I can’t give any details yet, but suffice it to say, I’m extremely excited about taking on yet another interesting and unique project.”

  • I enjoyed Alexis morning news show at Fox, and would certainly take a look at her CNN program or wherever she goes. I haven't watched CNN for quite a few years.
Getting unslanted news from Fox was a revelation for me. Alexis was a joy to watch though, even though she's a jet, & giants fan and I'm strictly Pats!
