Katy Ruth Camp, who’s been a news reporter for the Marietta Daily Journal the past two years, has been promoted to business editor, managing editor Billy Mitchell announced.
She replaces Donna Espy, who was named the business editor in January.
“Camp is looking forward to her new position.
“‘As business editor, I will combine my experience at the Journal as both a hard news and features reporter in providing the community with business stories that are in-depth, local, engaging, innovative and informative,’ Camp said. ‘This is arguably the most challenging time in recent decades for private industries, and I will delve into all markets with a curious mind and fact-based approach. I invite the business community to assist me in keeping the public informed and up-to-date with business news across the county as I strive to make the Journal the go-to source for business news in Cobb.'”
