Senior editor Gara departs Forbes for FT

Antoine Gara

Forbes senior editor Antoine Gara will be joining the Financial Times to cover private capital.

His new role begins Oct. 4.

He comes from Forbes, where he spent over 6 years, most recently serving as a senior editor. Before that, he held the posts of staff writer and associate editor. He has also reported for TheStreet.com and Bloomberg Businessweek.

Previously, Gara was an analyst at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers.

Gara graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
