Fred Gabriel is returning to Crain’s New York Business as publisher and executive editor.
A Crain’s New York story states, “Gabriel will oversee the content and business operations of the publication where he started his career.
“‘We are fortunate to recruit a news executive with Fred’s experience’ said Crain’s Group Publisher Mary Kramer. ‘He has deep relationships in the financial world that started when he covered banking as a reporter at Crain’s New York Business and were honed as he led the newsroom at Investment News. Our focus will be on strengthening our news coverage to broaden our New York audience. Fred also will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure we are meeting clients’ needs and expectations.’
