Virginia Furness has been named sustainable banking editor at Capital Monitor.
Most recently, she was Middle East and Africa editor at Euromoney magazine where she had complete editorial control over Euromoney’s MEA content.
She has also worked as a European bond correspondent at Reuters, providing readers with key market-moving information among other tasks.
Furness was also with GlobalCapital for more than 4 years. There, she held numerous roles, including Asia bonds reporter – Hong Kong, emerging markets reporter, deputy editor sovereigns, supranationals and agencies, editor emerging markets, and deputy editor emerging markets.
She was also a consultant at MHP Communications.
Furness is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin.
