After spending five years on the insurance beat, Oliver Ralph will be taking over as Financial Times breaking news editor.
He will be working with teams based in London, New York and Hong Kong.
Ralph has been with FT for more than 11 years now, joining as a U.K. companies editor. In June 2012, he was named Lex writer. He has also worked as an editor at Investors Chronicle for more than 9 years and was a writer and editor for Euromoney.
Additionally, he has also worked at Nikkei, Los Angeles Times, Yahoo Finance, Springer, New Zealand Herald, Silicon Valley Business Journal, Albany Business Review, National Post and more.
Ralph is a graduate of The University of Edinburgh.
