FT names Mundy its Moral Money editor

Simon Mundy

Simon Mundy has been named Moral Money editor at the Financial Times, covering the push for a cleaner and more sustainable world economy.

He has reported for the Financial Times since 2010. He started his career in Johannesburg, where he joined the FT to cover Southern Africa. After a stint as a corporate reporter in London, he spent seven years in Asia, heading the FT bureaus in Seoul and then Mumbai.

He is the the author of “Race for Tomorrow,” a book about the global fight to respond to climate change.

​Mundy spent nearly two years travelling through six continents to tell the stories of the diverse cast of characters locked in this historic struggle – from communities hit by extreme physical shifts, to business leaders grappling with the implications for the world economy.

​”Race for Tomorrow” will be published by William Collins in October 2021.
