FT names Kinder its Asia financial correspondent

The Financial Times has named Tabby Kinder its Asia financial correspondent.

She has been the paper’s tax and accounting correspondent since July 2019.

Kinder previously worked at The Times of London as a professional services correspondent and at Dow Jones publication Financial News as its hedge fund correspondent. She was also a news editor and senior reporter at The Lawyer.

Kinder’s freelance work has appeared in The Times, The Sunday Times, Vice magazine and BBC News Magazine, among others.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
