The Financial Times has named Alistair Gray as its U.S. consumer correspondent.
Gray will cover a range of topics within the U.S. retail and consumer industries, including shopping malls, cigarettes, clothing, food, cleaning products and beer.
He previously was a U.S. financial correspondent for the past two and a half years based in New York. He joined the FT in October 2007 and has been a British companies reporter and an insurance reporter in London.
Gray holds a degree from University of Edinburgh. He holds a postgraduate diploma from City University in London.
