FT launches Brazil Confidential site

February 4, 2011

Robert Andrews of PaidContent.org writes that the Financial Times has launched a new site called Brazil Confidential that covers financial news from the South American country.

Andrews writes, “Brazil Confidential is a ‘premium digital research service offering exclusive analysis and insights into one of the world’s most exciting emerging markets.’

“I make this the FT’s ninth niche spin-off site — others cover specific markets like pensions and most bear no FT branding.

“The FT just launched Tilt to cover all emerging markets, and already had China Confidential, so don’t bet against Russia Confidential and India Confidential.

“While the paper has added sites and sections, much of FT.com remains unloved, story templates still wearing their old design despite the latest refresh to its homepage.”
