The Financial Times has hired Wall Street Journal reporter Laurence Fletcher as a capital markets correspondent.
Fletcher previously covered European hedge funds for The Journal in London since April 2014.
He wrote a series of investigations into the collapse of hedge fund Heather Capital and the revelation of the scandal surrounding collapsed hedge fund Dynamic Decisions.
Before joining The Journal, Fletcher worked at Reuters as a European hedge funds correspondent for eight years. He also spent five-plus years at CityWire.
Fletcher is a graduate of the University of Cambridge.
