Fox Business signs hotel distribution deal

Fox Business Network announced Monday it has signed a deal with The Hotel Networks to expand its distribution to more than 300,000 hotel rooms across the country.

The multi-year deal will make Fox Business available in major national hotel chains beginning Jan. 1, 2009. Some of The Hotel Network’s major properties include: Hyatt, Hilton, Ritz Carlton, Fairmont, Westin, Wyndham, Marriott, Sheraton, Lowes, Le Meridien, Intercontinental and DoubleTree.

“We are pleased to expand upon FBN’s existing upscale demographic and allow today’s travelers the opportunity to sample our brand,” said Tim Carry, senior vice president of affiliate relations, in a statement.

The Hotel Network, a subsidiary of LodgeNet Interactive Corp., also carries CNBC. Its programming regularly reaches more than 20 million viewers per month.
