Fox Business Network reported its highest-rated month ever this July, according to Nielsen Media Research.
During the 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. business day, The nine-year-old Fox Business saw a 78 percent increase in total viewers with 148,000, while its primetime audience grew 210 percent year over year to an average of 161,000 viewers.
“Lou Dobbs Tonight” averaged 265,000 total viewers and 53,000 in the advertiser-friendly demo of adults aged 25-54, making it the top business news show on television.
In addition, all of Fox Business Network’s business day programs had their highest rated month ever.
Stuart Varney’s “Varney & Co.,” which airs from 9 a.m. to noon, reported 197,000 total viewers during the 11 a.m. hour. His show moved to the fifth most-watched news program on business television, a first top five finish for the show.
