Hosted by Jamie Colby, the first season debuted on Jan. 26 and was the highest-rated show launch in network history. Appearing on Mondays at 9 p.m., each of the 26 half-hour episodes explores unusual circumstances of inheritance from across the country.
Season two will showcase an additional 26 episodes and begin filming later this year.
The series is produced Fox Business Network’s director of special programing Brian Gaffney along with Jonathan Towers, founder and senior executive producer of Towers Productions LLC.
“Whether a family business or a forgotten heirloom, viewers have really responded to the compelling and financially surprising stories of “Strange Inheritance,'” said Bill Shine, senior executive vice president of Fox Business, in a statement. “We’re excited to bring the program back for a second season.”
