"Fox Business Network" will be used on air

The Inside Cable News blog reports that, contrary to what Conde Nast Portfolio’s Jeff Bercovici posted earlier Friday, Fox Business Network will use its full name on the air.

Fox Business Network ICN wrote, “ICN has been tipped off to a number of FBN items this week like timeslots, talent pairings, and program names but has held off on posting any of them because thereâ€™s always the very real possibility that the information could change before launch. Though I doubt the Cavuto and Asman shows will move.

“Update: An FBN insider tells ICN Jeff Bercovici is ‘misinformed once again.’

“‘Fox Business Network is being referred to on air as such â€“ there are no restrictions or limitations on that. Sounds like his sources arenâ€™t even at the level that they know what theyâ€™re talking about.'”
