Fox Business hires Bloomberg TV's Rothman

Fox Business Network is expected to announce later this afternoon that it has hired Lori Rothman from Bloomberg Television, Talking Biz News has learned.

Rothman will be anchoring the 1 p.m. block with Chris Cotter and will make her debut in September.

On Bloomberg, Rothman had once been host of “The Final Word,” two-hour program offering in-depth analysis of the U.S. markets.

Rothman joined Bloomberg in 2000 and moved to the anchor desk in the fall of 2005. Prior to that, she covered the markets from the New York Stock Exchange for more than 100 Bloomberg affiliates nationwide.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.

When the Fox producers catch a glimpse of Lori's beautiful sexy legs, rest assured thatl Lori will NOT be sitting behind a desk when she is on camera. The Fox mantra is leggy babes, and Lori is a perfect fit for the Fox harem.
