Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Co.” hosted by anchor Stuart Varney just earned its first ratings sweep over CNBC earlier this week.
The show, which celebrated its one year anniversary this week, brought in 164,000 total viewers and 50,000 viewers in the key 25- to 54-year-old demographic on Wednesday – more than double CNBC’s 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. time slot average of 24,000 viewers int he 25- to 54-year-old demographic.
In the 11 a.m. hour, Varney averaged 177,000 total viewers and 52,000 in the demo vs. CNBC’s “Squawk Alley,” which pulled in 144,000 total viewers and 23,000 in the demo.
The noon hour was also won by Varney with 151,0000 total viewers and 47,000 in the demo vs. CNBC’s “Fast Money Half Time Report,” which had 144,000 total viewers and 25,000 in the demo.
