Fox Biz Network’s stock reporter celebrates 25,000 reports

Fox Business Network‘s Nicole Petallides celebrated her 25,000th report from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday.

She received gifts from the stock exchange, including a gold badge.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.

    Your reporting is great, but You are "in another planet of social-economic Life". I was there before and know you can't see below the clouds. On Fox News, your coy comments that Americans still unemployed rely on benefits to not work and just lay on the couch. Let's do something dramatic for "news rating sake" and switch roles. U.S. job hires are eager attractive young adults ( special class citizens predominant ) or those under age 40 who are drones to procedure. Both will show up for any money.
    Try evaluating yourself. Keep the smile & look'in good.
