Crain’s Detroit Business announced Monday that Ron Fournier, an award-winning journalist, has been appointed associate publisher, leading editorial content strategy and work to expand new business and audience opportunities.
A story on its website states, “Fournier, 53, is coming to Crain’s from Atlantic Media, where he served as editor-in-chief of theNational Journal for two years and as senior political columnist for the National Journal and The Atlantic. Before joining Atlantic Media, Fournier was Washington bureau chief for The Associated Press and spent 20 years with the wire service. He is also a New York Times best-selling author of Love That Boy.
