Fortune’s Task to launch new podcast

Fortune.com editor Aaron Task will start a weekly podcast next week called “Fortune Unfiltered.”

The podcast will feature in-depth conversations with leaders in business today. According to its iTunes page, “Audiences will discover the personal journeys and the raw ambition behind the executives who are driven to greatness.”

Among the executives that Task has already interviewed for the Podcast are Rob Manfred (MLB commissioner), Beth Comstock (vice chair of GE), Steve Case (co-founder of AOL), Blake Irving (CEO of GoDaddy)  and Jim Koch (founder of Boston Beer Co., brewer of Sam Adams).

Task joined Fortune in September 2015 after time at Yahoo Finance, where he was editor in chief.

Before joining Yahoo in 2008, he spent 10 years at TheStreet.com in a variety of roles, including executive editor.  He also served as the on-camera host for Yahoo’s video efforts.  He is the winner of a number of journalism awards and co-author, with Barry Ritholtz, of the 2008 book “Bailout Nation.”

Rival Forbes has launched a number of podcasts this year.
