Fortune’s Huddleston joins CNBC’s Make It

Thomas Huddleston

Thomas Huddleston has been hired at CNBC Make It as  an entrepreneurs writer, reporting to Leah Ginsberg.

Prior to CNBC, Huddleston was a reporter at Fortune, where he focused on daily business news and market happenings for Fortune.com and Fortune magazine. He had been there since May 2014.

He began his journalism career at The American Lawyer, where he was a staff reporter for The Am Law Daily, covering the inner workings of the world’s largest law firms.

Huddleston earned his bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College and received his master’s degree from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
