Fortune taps Malas as data journalist

Meghan Malas

Fortune magazine has hired Meghan Malas as a data journalist for Fortune Education.

She will start in January.

Previously, she was working as a freelance writer and researcher for the magazine.

She has also interned at Cincinnati Business Courier and Cincinnati CityBeat. She was also a freelance reporter for The News Record in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Malas has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Cincinnati.
