The Fort Worth Business Press announced Tuesday that Chip Taulbee, associate publisher at Little Rock’s Arkansas Business Publishing Group, will join the company as president.
A story on its website states, “‘We’re so excited to have Chip Taulbee join Fort Worth’s premier niche publishing and events company,’ said Nick Karanges, publisher of the Fort Worth Business Press. ‘His experience in business publishing, editorial, sales, events and digital will be a great addition to our team.’
“Taulbee, who will begin his duties in October, will manage the daily operations of the Fort Worth Business Press and its website, FWBusinessPress.com, as well as several annual and periodic titles, contract publications and events.
“The Fort Worth Business Press, founded in 1987, is owned by DRC Media Corp.
“‘I’m thrilled to join the Fort Worth Business Press and look forward to being part of the thriving Fort Worth business community,’ Taulbee said.
“Taulbee has been associate publisher of the weekly Arkansas Business newspaper since 2006 and has overseen more than a dozen print and digital products in the Arkansas Business Publishing Group’s portfolio.”
