The Fort Worth Business Press has been sold to Brown Publishing Co., a family-owned publishing group based in Cincinnati, according to a story in the paper by Robert Francis.
“‘I will continue to write a weekly column, make story suggestions, and represent the newspaper at our signature events honoring important citizens in Fort Worth,’ Connor said. ‘The new owners and I are viewing this as the beginning of a partnership.’
“Bruce McGonnigal, who heads up the division of Brown Publishing Co., that includes the BusinessPress, said keeping Connor involved is important. ‘I’m looking forward to working with the folks atthe Business Press,’ McGonnigal said. ‘I feel there is a lot of opportunity to continue what Rich has done to date. To have Rich as an ongoing partner and resource is a real key to the success here.'”
