Mick Weinstein, the former editor in chief and vice president of content at SeekingAlpha.com, has been named head of editorial at Covestor.com, an investment management site with plans to launch an editorial product.
Weinstein writes, “I’m super excited to be joining Covestor, which is already well on its way to disrupting traditional investment management by de-institutionalizing the whole process. Here’s an short video of how Covestor works.
“I was in London a couple weeks ago to meet the team there, and was just extremely impressed with the talent, smarts and enthusiasm in this company. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to join up at this stage, and anxious to get started on some new projects, back in the field of online finance that I’ve missed since leaving Seeking Alpha a few months ago.”
