Former Pittsburgh Post-Gazette business editor Brian Hyslop has been named editor of Pittsburgh magazine.
Joyce Gannon of the Post-Gazette reported, “Mr. Hyslop, 56, will begin his new position Aug. 6.
“He is a former business editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette who also worked as an editor in the features department and held other positions at the Post-Gazette and at the Pittsburgh Press.
“After leaving the Post-Gazette in 2015, he helped launch Print, a community newspaper in the city’s East End.
“Mr. Hyslop said his plans at the monthly magazine include ‘taking all the good things they are doing, building on those and helping the magazine become an even better reflection of the Pittsburgh community.'”
