Former Dow Jones journo Guerrera joins Italian publication

Francesco Guerrera

Francesco Guerrera is joining La Repubblica, Italy’s biggest publication, as deputy editor, overseeing financial and economic coverage.

Recently, he served as editor-in-chief of GlobalData Plc, which has news sites covering everything from health care to consumer goods, mining, finance and technology. Before that, he was head of international at Barron’s Group at Dow Jones & Co.

He also served as head of Europe for Dow Jones and was associate editor and chief financial correspondent for Politico Europe.

There, he launched and helmed the coverage of its financial services. He was also global finance editor at The Wall Street Journal and has worked at The Financial Times.
