Alex Wilhelm wrote in his personal blog that he will be joining back TechCrunch to write for the main blog and work on some extra things for Extra Crunch. He will also be working with Kate Clark.
Wilhelm’s new job will have him working remotely from Providence with some trips in and around San Francisco. He had been editor in chief of Crunchbase since January 2017.
He worked at TechCrunch from July 2013 to January 2016.
Previously, Wilhelm served as editor-in-chief at Mattermark. He was also deputy managing editor/business and politics editor/ Midwest editor at TNW. Additionally, he has also interned at brass Media Inc.
Wilhelm has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Chicago.
