Leigh Giangreco, a former reporter at The Capitol Forum covering defense contracts and the Committee on Foreign Investment in U.S., will be leaving Washington to join WGN America’s news program, “News Nation,” as a researcher.
Her new role will be based in Chicago.
Giangreco has worked as a freelancer for more than five years. She has also served as a U.S. defense reporter for FlightGlobal and as an associate editor at Inside Washington Publishers.
Before that, she was an investigative intern at USA Today. Giangreco also held the post of D.C. bureau/Capitol Hill correspondent at Durango Herald.
In addition, she has also interned at The Washington Examiner and Capitol News Connection.
Giangreco is a graduate of American University.
