Ryan Tarinelli, a temporary newsperson at The Associated Press, has joined The New York Law Journal as the Journal’s Albany-based reporter.
There, he will be covering the statehouse, courts and similar things.
Before coming to the AP, Tarinelli was working as a crime reporter for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Prior to that, he was a reporting intern for the Student Press Law Centre. He also held a number of posts at The Argonaut including those of news reporter and news editor.
He also served as a business reporting intern at The Gazette Company and as an associate editor and editor-in-chief at Blot Magazine. Additionally, he has also interned at The News Tribune.
Tarinelli received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and applied music performance from the University of Idaho.
