Forbes.com Monday announced that Sara Clemence has been named the new Lifestyles Editor of Forbes.com. As such, she will be responsible for the Forbeslife channel on the site (www.forbes.com/forbeslife). Clemence has served as interim editor since March 2006, having joined Forbes.com in 2004 to write about real estate.
“Sara’s style, savvy and sophistication will bring a new aesthetic to our lifestyle coverage that will elevate our offering both for those readers who aspire to and those who live the Forbes life,” said Paul Maidment, editor of Forbes.com, in a release.
Forbes.com’s lifestyle editorial team covers real estate, vehicles, travel, style, health, wine and food, collecting and sports, concentrating on the luxury and high-end markets. Clemence reports to managing editor Dan Bigman.
She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Johns Hopkins University, and a journalism degree from Columbia University. Prior to starting at Forbes.com, Clemence worked for the Anniston (Ala.) Star, where she covered chemical weapons and environmental issues, and the Albany Times-Union, where she covered business.
