Forbes Vietnam, a monthly magazine published in Vietnamese, launched on Monday.
Forbes Vietnam is published under a licensing agreement between Forbes Media LLC and Interactive Media, an IDG Ventures Vietnam portfolio company, and in cooperation with Bao Van Hoa. Forbes Media LLC is the publisher of Forbes magazine, Forbes Asia magazine, and Forbes.com.
The initial circulation for Forbes Vietnam is 25,000 copies per month. Forbes Media LLC also publishes Forbes Asia, its flagship magazine in the region, and under licensing partnerships, Forbes China, Forbes Korea, Forbes India, Forbes Indonesia, Forbes Thailand, and Forbes Vietnam. Altogether, the Forbes brand in Asia has a circulation of some 425,000.
“The launch of Forbes Vietnam is an important milestone for Forbes’ expansion in the Asia Pacific region,” said William Adamopoulos, CEO Asia of Forbes Media LLC, in a statement. “It is also timely given Vietnam’s rising economic prospects and its fast-growing community of CEOs, tycoons, philanthropists, investors and aspiring entrepreneurs.”
Forbes Vietnam will have access to Forbes stories from around the world, and will also feature local content from the Forbes Vietnam editorial team.
