Forbes video anchor Rusli joins TechCrunch

Michael Arrington of TechCrunch reports that the tech-related site has hired Evelyn Rusli away from the Forbes Video Network.

Arrington writes, “Evelyn joins us from Forbes where she was an anchor reporter for the Forbes Video Network. Rusli split her time between writing and video at Forbes, and also made over 200 television appearances on Forbes on Fox and other shows. Prior to Forbes Rusli worked for the New York Times and the San Francisco Examiner, among other publications.

“Only about 1/3 of Evelyn’s time will be spent writing. We will also shortly be launching our video project, TechCrunch TV. We’re putting the finishing touches on our new TV/video studio here at TechCrunch HQ, and Evelyn will be our main anchor for breaking news content as well as planned shows. Much more on that in a couple of weeks.”
