Forbes to launch Ukraine edition

Forbes announced Wednesday the launch of its latest local-language edition, Forbes Ukraine, through a licensing agreement with United Media Holding.

The first issue of the magazine will appear in the first quarter of 2011.

Forbes also has licensee editions in China, Croatia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Korea, Latvia, Middle East, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia and Turkey.

“The goal of UMH is to make Forbes the most successful business magazine in the Ukraine, with the greatest amount of trust amongst readers and the advertising community,” added Boris Lozhkin, president of United Media.
